Pinky the Crocodile

Japanese Forest

Okuhida & Kamikochi - July 19, 1998

Kamikochi (上高地) is a remote mountainous highland in the western portion of Nagano Prefecture, Japan, which has been preserved in its natural state. It has been designated as one of Japan's National Cultural Assets.

The main highland alpine valley is located at an altitude of 1,500 m (4,900 ft) with the surrounding mountains of the northern Japan Alps reaching 3,190 m (10,470 ft).

I took the following pictures with my first digital camera (35M), before I established this website.
